A BETA version of GPSMasterMobile is available for download (click to download, 864KB)! It's a new project I've been working on recently. The program runs on WM5 and above. It MIGHT run on PPC2002 and PPC2003 as well if the .NET Compact Framework (3.5) is installed but I haven't tested this. The program communicates with a GPS receiver over a comport (I use it on my own Asus MyPal with build in Sirf III receiver) and can handle both NMEA and the Sirf Binary protocol. I use it at 57600 baud myself.

The program currently has a skyplot (satellite view), a compass view, a screen with navigation information (speed, postion etc.), a (moving) map view showing waypoints, tracks and a cursor pointing in the current direction, a list showing the loaded waypoints and tracks. The program loads 'Waypoints.WAY' and 'Tracks.TRA' on startup (if they exist), both files need to be in GPSMaster format (files saved by the GPSMaster version for PC). The program will save a tracklog to 'Tracks.TRA' (will append to existing file) and compress the tracklog according to the setting on the setting view (best to use is medium). Waypoints created on the map view page are saved (appended) to 'Waypoints.WAY'. The files can of course in turn be read by the PC version of GPSMaster.

This is all the program does for now. Feel free to download and use it. Comments and ideas welcome. Did I mention it's a BETA version?
